New Utility Vehicles

This morning we took delivery of the first of three new Toro MDX Utility Vehicles. As part of our new fleet deal with Toro, we now have taken delivery of 10 new pieces of equipment since March.

As all Toro equipment is manufactured and produced in the US at their headquarters in Minnesota and the current supply chain issues that we face, the new machinery has been slow to come in, However we did get excellent service from the Toro Distributor for Scotland, Reesink Turfcare, based in Livingston. The Utility Vehicles were put on a cargo ship in the US in early November, arrived in the UK early December, before being delivered this week following inspection at the Livingston depot.

We are still waiting on the arrival of 3 fairway mowers (3555) and a rotary triple mower (3550) also known as a sidewinder as the units can move up to 12 inches out to the sides. This means that on tee bankings, the wheels on the mower can stay on the flat, but the units can be pushed down the banking which is safer for the operator - have a look at this machine on the Toro website here: https://commercialvideo.toro.com/watch/V8nI1mNmplpBZtnzlskNXA
